Game Description & Manual: You control your ship with the left and right arrow keys and the spacebar. The arrow keys move the Surprise left and right and the spacebar fires her cannons. You are the captain of the HMS Surprise. You have been given orders to intercept the French Privateer, Acheron. Finding her in a heavy fog off of the Galapagos Island, you engage her in battle. In the lower left cornet of the screen, you will find an indicator which shows how many cannons are loaded and ready to fire an any given time. You do not have to have all cannons loaded to fire-neither does the Acheron. The health of each ship is displayed at the top of the screen. You ship and the Acheron sustain damage when hit by enemy fire. The first ship whose health bar reaches zero has lost the battle. Defeat the Acheron and claim her prize or fall to her and claim a watery grave.
